At Covenant Church of Jacksonville we love to gather with each other and worship the Triune GOD! We follow a simple liturgy where we have a call to worship from the Psalms, sing hymns & songs, corporately read our confession(s), pray, and hear the Word of God preached. We dress our best to honor the LORD and spend time after service fellowshipping. Fellowship starts at 9:45 am, Worship starts at 10 am and generally gets out at 11:30 am.
We meet in an old Presbyterian Church building built in 1906 that now serves as the home of the Springfield Historic Society. Parking is along the street in this beautiful neighborhood.
Each week we gather on Thursday night at our pastors house to share a meal, study the Bible, learn doctrine and church history. The meal is served at 6:30 pm and followed by hymn singing, prayer, and study.
We believe that a Church consists of people in Covenant relationship with God and each other. We take these relationships seriously and want to connect with you outside of normal Worship and Bible Study times also.
